Job Summary
Provide patient care and clinical support in a well-known dermatology practice. You will evaluate skin conditions, assess and update medical histories, maintain records of dermatological symptoms, analyze patient conditions, inform patients about treatments, conduct non-intrusive medical procedures, educate patients on preventive skin care, and screen patients and staff upon entry. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and clinical skills, with a focus on dermatology-specific knowledge, medical terminology, vital signs, and ongoing education. Eligible candidates typically hold a medical assisting certificate or diploma from a vocational program, have computer literacy, and possess or be able to obtain CPR certification within four weeks. Prior dermatology experience is preferred. AA/EEOC provisions and United States work authorization are required.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate
- CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
- MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
