Medical Assistant - Surgery

Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or physician. Performs select clinical duties, interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination, and performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Manages basic materials (ordering and stocking supplies) and maintains a clean, orderly environment. Works with a focus on safety and alertness. Job location includes DePaul Surgery in Bridgeton MO and work locations in IL, MO, OK, and WI with a full-time day shift.
