Job Summary
Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and maintain the patient recall system including continuity of care logs for lab tests and referrals. Obtain vital signs, report significant findings to the clinic physician, and perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered. Conduct other job-related duties under the supervision of a licensed physician or advanced practice provider. Requires a high school diploma, CMA/RMA certification, and BLS certification. Full-time day shift position with E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire
- Phlebotomy certificate
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience
