Job Summary
Schedule and coordinate surgeries and medical procedures, communicating with patients regarding dates and pre-operative instructions. Verify insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and maintain accurate patient records while preparing schedules. Perform medical assistant duties such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Requires High School diploma, Medical Assistant certification, and 2+ years of experience in a medical office. Proficient in EMR systems and scheduling software.
