Medical Assistant Supervisor (KC)

Oversee day-to-day clinic operations at FKMC for the Oakland, CA site by supervising Health Coaches, Unit Clerks, Unit Specialist, and on-call staff. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, performance evaluations, workflow coordination with Triage, Patient Services, Member Services and Medical Records, enforcing procedures and safety/security practices, implementing quality-control and regulatory/compliance measures (HIPAA), managing staffing budgets and supplies, and acting as a back-up for Health Coach duties when needed. Lead initiatives to improve clinic workflows, participate in personnel actions (discipline, hiring, performance improvement plans) in collaboration with Unit/ Nurse Managers and HR, and ensure high patient satisfaction through effective supervision and operational oversight. Must be CMA-certified with CPR certification; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience acceptable; California driver’s license and bilingual/bicultural in an Asian language preferred.
