Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) by assisting providers, coordinating appointments, managing specimen collection processes, and ensuring communication with laboratories and clinical staff. Responsibilities include laboratory coordination and specimen management, toxicology documentation and follow-up, performing EKGs and uploading results into the EHR, scheduling for medication management and evaluations, coordinating Medical Director calendar, reminder calls for appointments, maintaining provider schedules and documentation, inventory management, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant operations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
