Job Summary
Execute vital signs measurement, phlebotomy, and patient intakes while supporting Nurse Practitioners with follow-up tasks and patient outreach. Enter documentation into medical records, manage consent, and schedule appointments across telehealth, clinics, partner MD spaces, and patient homes. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver holistic kidney care, ensuring efficient transportation and reliable connectivity for regional visits. Report to the Lead, Nurse Practitioner. This hybrid role at Strive Health reduces emergency visits and improves outcomes for chronic condition patients.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years combined of related education, experience, or certification
- Graduate from a medical assistant program such as Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, OR Graduate of a formal medical assistant program
- Current BLS or CPR Certification
- Efficient and reliable transportation, including an active driver's license, allowing for the ability to travel across an assigned region to meet patient needs
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Highly collaborative, with experience working on multidisciplinary teams
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
