Place patients in examination rooms and document vitals, medications, and visit reasons in the electronic medical record. Perform screening procedures including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Assist with exam setup, collect laboratory specimens, and run routine tests. Enter provider orders and retrieve outside results. Explain treatment procedures, medications, and dietary instructions to patients. Clean and sterilize instruments, maintain inventory, and ensure room cleanliness. Order supplies and manage administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments. Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and patient flow protocols.
