Job Summary
Welcome and prepare patients for exams by measuring vital signs, recording medical history, and addressing initial concerns. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including vaccinations, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic tests. Manage patient scheduling, answer phone calls, and handle insurance verification. Document patient information in the EHR system accurately and monitor medical supplies to ensure exam rooms are prepared. Provide families with care instructions, immunization information, and wellness practices. Work closely with pediatricians, nurses, and the administrative team to ensure an excellent patient experience. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, with pediatric experience and EHR proficiency required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- CPR/BLS certification
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
