Job Summary
Coordinate centralized scheduling, eligibility coordination, and front desk coverage while performing clinical duties such as patient rooming, vitals, and point-of-care testing. Manage appointment confirmations, document in the EHR, and support workflow optimization across clinic locations. This role operates within a rotational model where all levels are cross-trained to expand responsibilities from basic operations to advanced clinical tasks, training support, and team leadership. Travel between Mesa and Phoenix clinic locations is required to support operational and patient care needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Graduation from an approved medical assistant training program
- CPR/BLS certification
- Basic computer proficiency to include Windows, MS Office, and the internet
- 1+ years in medical assistant experience
- Proficiency in advanced clinical procedures (ex. Phlebotomy, EKG, vaccine administration, specimen handling, Spirometer, etc.)
- 3+ yrs of medical assistant experience
- Strong understanding of clinical procedures and patient care practices
- 4+ years of Medical Assistance experience
- Advanced skills certifications
- Management experience
- The ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
