Job Summary
Medical Assistant position at St. Thomas Rheumatology Consultants in Nashville, TN. Full-time role handling back-office duties and front-office support, including patient intake, vital signs, rooming patients, entering medications, ordering labs and imaging, scheduling, triage, and answering phones. Requires EMR experience (NextGen a plus), ability to work in both front- and back-office environments, travel to a satellite clinic, and strong communication and organizational skills. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Competitive pay listed at $19.00–$22.00 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician’s office
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required; Nextgen experience is a plus
- Ability to work in both front-office and back-office roles; prior experience in both is preferred
- Patient-centered approach: Must always prioritize patient care and customer service
- Ability to travel to our satellite clinic
- Strong communication and organizational skills
