Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for St. Paul’s PACE program in the El Cajon clinic. Under the supervision of the Clinic Supervisor (RN), the role takes vital signs, escorts participants to exam rooms, prepares rooms, and assists physicians and nurses with treatment. Responsibilities include administering injections, performing blood draws, INR tests, finger sticks, obtaining specimens, and entering all daily activities into the electronic health record. The position supports clinic flow, ensures rooms are stocked, and provides Spanish/English translation when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education – Medical Assistant Certification
- Experience – Minimum of one year working with frail or elderly population
- Bilingual preferred
