Job Summary
Senior Medical Assistant supporting Advanced Primary Care in a Kentwood, MI outpatient clinic. Provides expert clinical assistance, trains new staff, and may perform moderately complex procedures within scope of certification. Responsibilities include scheduling procedures or managing panels, collaborating with physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and MAs to deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- Experience working as a Medical Assistant (MA), Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience using EPIC
- EPIC Superuser preferred (CMA) or related certifications such as CMA/AMT/NCCT/NAHP/NCMA
