Job Summary
Medical Assistant for Sports Medicine in Utah. Provides patient care in an ambulatory clinic, assisting clinicians to gather relevant visit information, and communicating with patients via telephone and in-person interactions. Requires MA program completion or MA-related experience or current RN/LPN license, BLS, and strong computer/communication skills. Shift is Full-Time, 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, across Payson (Payson Clinic) and Provo locations; responsibilities include patient care, information gathering, and cross-functional teamwork to support high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah; Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers; Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry; Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction; Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers.
