Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed in an orthopedic outpatient clinic in Tennessee. Responsibilities include standard medical assistant duties in an orthopedic setting, obtaining precertification for outpatient testing, processing referrals and scheduling follow-ups, answering phones professionally, maintaining stocked exam rooms, administering injections, and assisting with bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment. Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA). Strong organization and communication skills, team-oriented and patient-centered care focus. We offer medical/dental/vision insurance, an HSA, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (required)
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
