Job Summary
Deliver excellent patient care through the full patient experience, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure support under medical staff supervision. Manage patient and clinical records by retrieving, processing, maintaining, and securing them while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Prepare operating rooms and instruments for surgical procedures, assist with post-operative dressings, and clean and sterilize equipment after each case. Support the clinic in meeting operational and sales targets by explaining treatment procedures and medications to patients. Work a Tues-Sat schedule in a fast-paced environment, maintaining BLS certification and familiarity with surgical instruments and medical supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain BLS certification
- Must be able to work a Tues-Sat schedule on a regular basis
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution and meet state requirements
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to problem solve and clarify necessary steps of logic and reasoning in a professional manner
- Must be familiar with MS Office, including Excel
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of surgical and medical instruments including but not limited to: OR table, lights, all suctioning devices and tubing, irrigation, laser, O2 tanks and Banyan Stat Kit/AED

- Candidates who can reliably commute to the office each day are preferred
