Job Summary
Supervise the clinical Medical Assistant team by assigning work, providing training and development, and managing performance. Track and report clinic metrics, implement programs to improve performance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements. Build positive relations with site providers, deescalate conflicts, and address patient grievances while coordinating inventory and vaccination management. Fully trained to cover for absent staff as needed. Work full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Wednesday hours extending to 6:00 pm. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Russian, or Arabic is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years supervisory experience in a clinic setting
- 4+ years medical assistant experience in a family practice clinic setting
- Medical Assistant certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- College preferred
- Fluent bilingual preferred (Spanish, Russian, Arabic)
