Medical Assistant - Shrewsbury

Welcome patients in person or by phone and route inquiries appropriately. Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms. Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in‐office lab testing. Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies. Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed. Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly. Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations. Work Monday through Saturday with varying hours based on the Physician's schedule.
