Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, document histories and visit details, and assist with dermatological procedures including biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Collaborate to handle up to 40 daily patients while administering anesthesia, removing sutures, and ensuring strict sterile techniques. Perform scribing duties, process prescription refills, log pathology samples, and operate specialized equipment such as UVB units. Maintain examination rooms and manage liquid nitrogen containers. Requires fluency in English and Russian.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must be bilingual in English/Russian
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Must be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must be able to adjust focus
