Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, document histories, and assist with dermatological procedures including biopsies, surgeries, and laser treatments. Administer local anesthesia, remove sutures, and perform scribing duties while processing prescription refills and managing prior authorizations. Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques, infection control protocols, and organizational safety standards. Operate specialized equipment such as Narrowband UVB units and maintain liquid nitrogen containers. Collaborate with a team to handle up to 40 patients daily while maintaining accurate records. Requires bilingual fluency in English and Russian.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must be bilingual in English/Russian
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Must be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
