Job Summary
Perform high-volume phlebotomy, administer injections, and assist with clinical care for fertility patients. Maintain blood drawing station supplies, ensure lab specimens are sent correctly, and provide pre- and post-op education. Conduct patient counseling, communicate physician orders, and establish a compassionate environment through emotional support. Take vital signs, perform semen washes for IUIs, and utilize computers for data entry and label printing. Work independently to achieve program goals while supporting customer service excellence within a nationally respected fertility organization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- High School diploma
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM Eastern Time, with occasional weekends and holidays
