Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant in outpatient clinic environment. Responsibilities include taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing patients for examination, assisting physicians during exams, administering medications and injections, performing basic lab tests and collecting specimens, notifying patients of lab results, providing medication and treatment instructions, performing routine diagnostic tests such as EKGs and phlebotomy, drawing blood, scheduling patient appointments, maintaining accurate medical records, and handling EHR with confidentiality. Requires BLS and an accredited MA program or national certification (CMA, NCCT, AMT).
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- MA program from accredited by ASSCS, ACCET, CAAHEP, ABHES or national certification issued by CMA, NCCT or AMT
- Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
- Location: Seattle, WA
