Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, obtain histories and vital signs, and administer medications and immunizations per protocol. Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR, assist providers with exams and charting, and coordinate labs and referrals. Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model while supporting efficient patient flow. This role serves as a key member of the care team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved MA program
- Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)
- BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)
- Ambulatory care experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
