Job Summary
Medical Assistant/Scribe in a vascular surgery setting responsible for preparing exam rooms, performing routine clinical tasks, documenting visits in the EHR, taking vital signs, assisting during examinations, providing translation support, managing patient flow, and ensuring accurate, timely medical documentation. Must be proficient with EHR systems, communicate effectively in English (Spanish bilingual a plus), and maintain high-quality patient care. Requires a California driver’s license with clean record and ability to assist with transporting patients. Compensation: $25/hour DOE. Location: San Leandro, CA; in-person work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Scribe experience
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Scribe or similar clinical support role
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proof of valid vehicle insurance
