Job Summary
Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining histories and vital signs, document relevant information, and assist with accurate medical records. Prepare examination and procedure rooms, support providers during examinations and in-office procedures, and administer medications under physician supervision. Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and waitlist activity, while completing patient check-in and verifying demographic information. Monitor inventory and ensure clinical areas remain properly stocked. Work Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM in an outpatient environment at Midwest Pain Clinics in Omaha, NE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of medical assistant or medical scribe experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent typing skills
- Monday-Thursday schedule
- 8:00 AM-5:30 PM schedule
