Job Summary
Medical Assistant providing patient intake, rooming, vital signs, data collection (including spirometry), accurate EHR documentation, and timely patient flow. Assist with testing procedures and treatments under supervision; provide patient and family education; notify patients of lab/test results; manage patient appointments; maintain exam rooms and supplies; mentor and support staff as needed; emphasize priority of care in emergencies and professional conduct within the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of successful completion of Medical Assisting Program/School
- National Certification is preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills
- basic knowledge of computers
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a team environment
