Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, document visit details including history of present illness and allergies, and assist with dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and laser treatments. Administer local anesthesia, remove sutures, and operate specialized equipment like Narrowband UVB units while maintaining strict sterile techniques. Perform scribing duties by inputting chart notes, process prescription refills, manage prior authorizations, and coordinate with laboratories for pathology samples. Clean examination rooms, stock supplies, and maintain liquid nitrogen containers. Collaborate with a team to handle up to 40 patients daily. Work Monday through Thursday for 10 hours at $22–23 hourly. Requires high school diploma, 0–3 years of medical assistant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
