Medical Assistant - S Mountain

The Medical Assistant serves as the first contact for patient care at the Sun City clinic, performing both administrative and direct patient duties. Responsibilities include documenting in electronic records, taking vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, phlebotomy, specimen collection, conducting screening tests, sterilizing equipment, maintaining exam rooms, and collaborating with providers within certification limits. Requires completion of an MA training program or CMA/RMA certification, 5+ years of experience with provider approval, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Preferred candidates have phlebotomy experience, medication/vaccine administration experience, knowledge of value-based care including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience, and prior experience with TB screening. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) in Phoenix, AZ, with a salary range of $43,000–$56,200 and a $2,000 new-clinic signing bonus in 2026.
