Job Summary
Medical Assistant in Gastroenterology at Raleigh Medical Group. Provide clinical support and patient care in an in-office GI setting, including rooming patients, assisting with examinations and procedures, administering medications as directed, collecting specimens, documenting in EHR, triaging non-emergent calls, coordinating referrals and authorizations, and educating patients. Maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance and collaborate with clinical/operational teams to ensure high-quality patient experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of recent medical office experience utilizing an EHR system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
