Job Summary
Medical Assistant II in a Pulmonology clinic (Seattle) working under a licensed practitioner to support patient care. Role requires completing an accredited MA program or MA apprenticeship, or equivalent clinical training, and holding Washington Medical Assistant Certification with BLS within 30 days of hire. Responsible for clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, with demonstrated 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months MA experience. The position is full-time, day shift, in-person at Seattle, WA, with emphasis on adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations and collaboration within a patient-focused, team-based care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training OR Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OR Completion of two years of medical training in US Armed Forces OR Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration OR Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire; National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire; 6 months healthcare experience; 6 months Medical Assistant experience
