Job Summary
Provides individualized medical assistant support in a pulmonology clinic under supervision; assists in delivering healthcare services to patients of varied backgrounds and ages, ensuring the patient and provider are prepared for visits, documenting pertinent information, and maintaining patient communication by phone and in person. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification; preferred completion of a formal medical assistant training program. Works on-site in Slidell, LA, supporting efficient patient flow and collaborating with the attending physician.
Required Qualifications
