Job Summary
Clinical and clerical support for medical providers in a psych & behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include back-office tasks, preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, administering injections, assisting with the medical plan of care, maintaining patient flow, coordinating with the patient care team and families, and utilizing EHR systems. Requires effective written and verbal communication, teamwork, organization, and ability to interpret data; 1 year relevant experience preferred and HS diploma or equivalent with medical assisting training. Schedule: full-time, days; location: Santa Cruz, CA.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Completion of medical assisting course or on-the-job training equivalent to one year
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
