Job Summary
Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures. Support clinic nurse, responsible for chart prep functions and phlebotomy. Responsible for all duties of Medical Assistant. At least one year of experience as a medical assistant; ability to perform venipuncture; BLS required upon hire or obtained within 30 days; High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license for travel to clinics. Background, drug, and nicotine screens are part of the process; vaccination requirements include influenza, with accommodation options as applicable. This role operates across multiple Florida locations (Lady Lake, Ocala, The Villages) as part of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. EEOC/AA employer.
