Job Summary

Obtain vital signs, administer injections, and manage medication administration for assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. Perform all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant role while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain competency in clinical needs for the assigned clinic location. Complete National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
  • Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant
  • Clinical skills: obtaining vital signs
  • Clinical skills: administering injections
  • Clinical skills: medication administration
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 6 months of Healthcare experience
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Desired Qualifications

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
