Job Summary
Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role, including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. Execute clinical duties as directed to assist in providing patient care while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain full competence in clinical needs for the assigned clinic or location of work. This role requires a graduate of an accredited school, registered apprenticeship program, or two years of military medical training, or one year of work experience with relevant clinical skills. New hires must obtain National Provider BLS certification within 30 days and possess six months of healthcare experience. Six months of specific Medical Assistant experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant
- Obtaining vital signs

- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
