Job Summary
Medical Assistant at ProMedica Health and Wellness Center in Family Medicine. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, documenting visit reasons, obtaining vitals, communicating with patients and the care team, answering patient phone calls, and relaying messages for providers or nurses. Must maintain safe patient experience and support clinical excellence. Requires high school graduation and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Shift is 40 hours per week, days schedule, in-office in Sylvania, OH.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS card from the AHA at time of employment or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: Previous experience in medical office
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
