Job Summary
Medical Assistant – PRN position performing exam preparation, room setup, injections, wound management under provider orders, phlebotomy, specimen collection and processing, documentation in EMR, scheduling tests/appointments, patient instruction, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless patient care. Tasks include preparing and maintaining exam/treatment rooms, sterilizing supplies, performing opening/closing clinic duties, and handling lab calls. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and current Medical Assistant certification (RMA/AAMA/NCCT/CMAC/AMCA) with current BLS; minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Location: Vidor, TX; in-person role with hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.
- Certificate/License: Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following programs is preferred (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA). Current BLS certification is required.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.
