Job Summary

Greet patients promptly, record histories and vital signs, and document medications, allergies, and pertinent details during initial evaluations. Prepare patients for provider assessment by ensuring proper positioning, safety, and shielding while shooting X-Rays and executing follow-up calls for lab results. Assist with patient transfers, procedures, and phlebotomy under provider supervision, maintaining stocked, clean exam rooms and adhering to infection control and confidentiality standards. Support front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures as needed. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour/week shifts including weekends; PRN staff work as-needed. BLS certification and CMA preference required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
  • Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
  • Must be available for every-other weekend
  • Must be available for PRN (per diem) as-needed basis
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Must be able to work Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Must be able to work Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Must be able to work in Florence, AL
  • Must be able to perform phlebotomy
  • Must be able to perform injections
  • Must be able to prepare and shoot X-Rays
  • Must be able to ensure proper positioning, safety, radiation protection, and shielding
  • Must be able to adhere to infection control standards
  • Must be able to adhere to safety standards
  • Must be able to adhere to patient confidentiality standards
  • Must be able to recognize acuity levels for appropriate intervention
  • Must be able to provide clear communication
  • Must be able to offer solutions to patient concerns
  • Must be able to seek help in emergent or hazardous situations
  • Must be able to ensure timely follow-up for lab and x-ray results
  • Must be able to execute follow-up calls with urgency
  • Must be able to support front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures
