Job Summary
Medical Assistant PRN: Performs direct patient care tasks and related duties, including taking histories, obtaining vitals, rounding on inpatient units, and conducting CLIA‐compliant UDS/HCG testing. Administers medications per provider orders and site protocols, schedules and coordinates clinic appointments, authorizes refills, and liaises with pharmacies. Maintains accurate documentation, inventory of medicines and supplies, and ensures regulatory/licensure compliance. This part-time role supports clinical programs under supervision of LPN/RN with ongoing training and competitive benefits. Vaccinations for COVID and Influenza are required for all staff. Location: Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- One year working as a Medical Assistant in a licensed healthcare facility.
