Job Summary
Medical Assistant – PRN positions involved in preparing patients for exams, taking vitals, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and maintaining supplies, administering injections, collecting specimens, documenting patient care in EMR, scheduling tests and appointments, instructing patients on treatments, collaborating with the care team, and performing phlebotomy plus opening/closing clinic duties. Strong clinical skills in basic patient care, lab procedures, specimen handling, and knowledge of EMR systems are required; BLS certification and MA credentialing are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent is required.
- Current BLS certification is required.
