Medical Assistant PRN - Cardiology Clinic

Supports the licensed healthcare team in performing office examinations and procedures by organizing and managing clinic patient flow, gathering and documenting patient screening data, and assisting with patient and family education and communication with the health care team. Directs and supports patient flow, maintains supplies and equipment, and facilitates access to resources to meet patient healthcare needs. Performs/assists with procedures per organizational standards and documents screening data for the healthcare team. Demonstrates competencies in clinical documentation, patient care tasks (vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, medication administration), environment of care, and planning/organizing, while delivering compassionate service and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment. This role is with Vanderbilt Health and involves working in a cardiology clinic setting in Lebanon, TN.
