Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports patient care in primary care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under supervision, assisting with non-invasive procedures, preparing exam rooms, managing patient intake and documentation, coordinating referrals and communications, maintaining supplies, and educating patients on medications and health topics to ensure efficient, high-quality clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required.
