Job Summary
Schedule appointments, update information in EPIC, and take patients' vital signs during visits. Perform all aspects of the MA I role, including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. Maintain patient care for assigned clinic locations in accordance with established policies and regulations. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
