Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed to support a busy Primary Care team at a Mass General Brigham affiliate in Portsmouth, NH. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, interviewing patients, documenting information, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, assisting with phlebotomy if competent, immunizations (where applicable), and performing general office duties (answering phones, dictation, insurance forms) while serving as a liaison with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care. The role requires patient-centered, team-oriented care in a 1:1 support capacity, with duties spanning both clinical and non-clinical tasks, and may involve training new staff and contributing to quality initiatives. Onsite, full-time position (40 hours) scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred
- 1-2 years MA experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Ambulatory/Outpatient experience preferred
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT preferred
