Job Summary
Conduct patient chart reviews for pre-visit planning, medication refills, and clinical desktop support. Prepare and room patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining exam rooms, instruments, and supplies. Administer prescribed medications and vaccines under provider direction, including blood draws and lab processing. Engage patients to ensure they feel heard and involved in their care. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care and improve clinic processes. Work full-time Tuesday through Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm. Join a nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center offering integrated services including Psychiatry, Dental, and Pediatrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Evidence of Medical Assistant training including all the essential job functions, knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here in this job description, or MA Certification
- Up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute
Desired Qualifications
- Initial and maintained Certification
- Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- CMA- Certification by the AAMA
- RMA- Certification by the AMT
- CCMA- Certification by the NHA
- Prepared to certify within 60 days of hire
