Job Summary
Medical Assistants needed to provide general clinic support within an integrated care model (Primary Care and Behavioral Health). Responsibilities include coordinating internal and external referrals, handling patient intake and discharge, scheduling appointments, answering patient phone calls, providing lab coverage, maintaining exam rooms and clinical areas, and delivering patient education as directed by the provider. Day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm with no nights or weekends. The Centers offers benefits, a stable outpatient clinic environment, and opportunities for credential renewal and continuing education. Must have a high school diploma, MA certification and phlebotomy certification (preferred), and at least one year of clinical experience; EMR experience preferred; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current Medical Assistant certification and Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
- One or more years of clinical work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Prefer experience with Electronic Medical Records system
- Abide by all regulations that govern The Centers
