Medical Assistant

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, obtain and document vital signs and medical histories, and assist physicians with minor in-office clinical needs. Maintain examination rooms and equipment, administer medications and injections as directed, and perform clinical procedures accurately in the electronic medical record. Collect, label, and process specimens while coordinating patient scheduling and follow-up appointments. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide patient education on medications and care instructions. Ensure accurate EMR documentation, monitor clinical supplies, and strictly adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and safety policies. Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism throughout all interactions.
