Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for an integrated Primary Care and Behavioral Health location in Glendale, AZ. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) at a single Olive Avenue site. Responsibilities include taking medical histories and assisting physicians with examinations, preparing patients, coordinating information with behavioral health and other offices, following up on communications and referrals, updating patient files, scheduling appointments, and handling general clerical duties. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required; NextGen EMR experience is a plus, with bilingual capability (Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, or ASL) also noted as a differential pay opportunity. The position requires an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and completion of a Drug Screen and TB Test.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma and/or Certificate Required
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role
- Must pass a Drug Screen
- Must pass TB Test
