Job Summary
Room patients, collect information, prepare individuals for examination, assist with procedures, and support overall patient care delivery. Candidates may work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm at either the Happy Valley or NW Portland location. A graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, along with national certification and current BLS CPR certification. Epic electronic health record experience is strongly preferred. This role joins the Internal Medicine team at Vancouver Clinic, which provides comprehensive care including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Vancouver Clinic is an alcohol and drug-free workplace
- Offers are contingent on successful completion of background screen and immunization requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Proof of successful completion of national certification examination (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) preferred
- Patient care experience preferred
- Experience with an electronic health record
- Epic experience strongly preferred
