Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, update medical histories, and document visit details while assisting with dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Collaborate to handle up to 40 patients daily, administer local anesthesia, and perform scribing duties including inputting chart notes. Process prescription refills, manage prior authorizations, log pathology samples, and operate specialized equipment like Narrowband UVB units. Maintain sterile techniques, clean examination rooms, and replenish liquid nitrogen containers. Work Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:30 PM with travel to York every other Wednesday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
